Okay, I'm not the brightest bulb in the package.  Have had Alex's Navy graduation DVD for weeks now, and it didn't occur to me till today that with the Idiotically Large television we have, plus my digital camera, I might be able to snag a few inferior-grade stills by taking photos of the TV.

And inferior-grade pretty much sums it up, still, they give the flavor:

That's him on the right in the upper photo, and dead center in the lower.  This is his division marching in.

Is there some way to get proper stills off a DVD?
